  • Kerry .. Spent a good part of today carving on Spenser's bench . I wet the letters with mineral spirits to give the effect of an applied finish. It looks so good in person .     this is such a great mirror. I love it and i love the wood and great workmanship. very fine and worth every penny. the only thing is the hardware provided and installed for hanging. the wire is not very practical for hanging heavy coats and bags.

    Great experience with Dan. During the process he was very thorough, even taking the initiative to find the user manual for the desk kit I'd asked him to build a top for to be sure what he was building would work with it. The final product is exactly what I wanted, looks great, and was reasonably priced.

    Dan has been wonderful to work with! This was my first time finding the website and finding a person to work with on a project that meant a lot. He took the time to get to know what the project was about and whom the bench was being made for. I have been nothing but terribly impressed with his interest in the project and his communication with me to make sure everything was being created well. I have already shared his name and pictures of his work with others. This has been an excellent experience!
