This pair of arm chairs are made using new Italian frames. They are upholstered in canvas, which have five coats of gesso as a primer, sanded in between to prepare a smooth painting surface and then coated with 8 thin layers of flexible varnish to protect the surface. This makes the chair … indestructible. In fact you can spill wine on them and wipe them off with a cloth. The frame is also hand painted and distressed.
