A design firm came up with the idea for our client, who wanted to refer back to his buildings days of industrial use. Made of 1/8" thick plate steel, one end of the panel is turned down to act as one of the desk supports, and the other end of the desk is supported by a steel chain and anchor hook … suspended from the ceiling. Foreman Fabricators worked with the design firm to enhance the overall stability and finished look of the desk, resulting in a functional, one-of-a-kind piece.

Foreman Fabricators, Inc. won an award for outstanding craftsmanship in an international competition sponsored by the National Ornamental & Miscellaneous Metals Association (NOMMA). This item won the "Silver Award for Furniture & Accessory Fabrication" in the annual Ernest Weimann Top Job Competition. The competition was open to over 700 member firms from throughout the U.S. and 12 foreign countries, and recognized outstanding work in the ornamental and miscellaneous metals industry.
