This project comprised 10 pins that were to represent flames in their many forms. I used black glass as the background and the flames were composed of a variety of dichroic glasses layered with clear glass in between for depth. Once the pieces were fired in the kiln, they were shaped into ovals, fire polished, and pin backs were attached. The finished one of a kind pieces were sent in gift boxes to the client.
