Tracy is awesome. I was looking for a designer to help me reset my wife's cheapo, 16-year-old engagement ring  – and I had a short timeline to make it happen for her 40th birthday. I'm a designer, so I had some ideas. I wanted to keep the orignal stones (a garnet flanked by small diamonds), but I wanted it to feel new – and in a much more substantial white gold setting. First of all, Tracy asks all the right questions. If you're a professional creative like me, you'll appreciate the way she speaks the language. She's honest, collaborative, and very talented. She also provided lots of sketches up front – plenty of stuff to choose from and talk about. She was open to my suggestions, and provided a great wax model of the ring for my approval before setting the gold. Regarding costs, Tracy provided me with a proposal that fit within my suggested budget. I really appreciated that; it made it easy to focus on the design. She even found ways to reduce the cost along the way. Very thoughtful. To top it all off, she did it in a super-tight timeframe, simply because she knew it was for my wife's birthday. But she didn't rush anything – toward the end, she wasn't happy with one detail, and so she took an extra day to make it right before shipping overnight. Her good planning made great work possible on a deadline. It got here on time – she even gift wrapped it and put it all together in a nice box. Very nice. My wife is thrilled – she cried, we laughed, and she can't stop looking at it. WIN! This was my first CustomMade experience – and Tracy nailed it. I'm grateful to CM for making this project possible, and to Tracy for doing an absolutely remarkable job.

Tracy was very helpful and made sure that I was satisfied with the design before it was made. I did get the project about a month after the expected delivery date because I requested so many modifications on the project and Tracy is busy. The ring turned out beautifully and was excellently-priced. I think in the future, I would like to send Tracy a ring that fits so that the sizing is perfect and I would put more consideration into making sure that elements of my ring do not poke my fingers in funny ways.
