This piece was wheel thrown and trimmed. Inside the vessel was glazed with a transparent teal then glaze trail of red iron oxide to the the organic free-flowing pattern. The exterior and underside of the vessel was glazed with a glaze formulated to look like lava. The contrast of texture and color is enjoyable
