Sometimes the most useful design element when planning and building a kitchen is creativity. Creative solutions were needed to perfectly fit the cabinetry into the kitchen space of this post and beam home. Four sided cabinets, double-sided cabinets, cabinets built to fit between beams and narrow … pull-outs to fit beneath were all utilized to best take advantage of the odd spaces throughout the kitchen. The natural cherry perfectly compliments the lighter raw wood color of the posts and beams and provides a warm feel – a necessity in the heart of the home.
