This RedLine Resophonic Guitar is the model we call the CoverGirl, because a guitar finished in this fashion graced the cover of our very first instrument catalog. We build our reso. guitars in two body sizes, the standard R-body, as it is called, and the larger body, which we call The Peabody. … This guitar is the larger size, offering plenty of volume, unbelievable bass response, and acres of sustain. You also get balanced clarity across all six strings, all the way up the neck.

This particular model is built with birdseye maple top and back and Honduran mahogany sides. The neck is a five-py affair, custom laid-up of mahogany and maple around a center strip of walnut.

Some other specifications: Fret scale is 25", tuners are Grover 18:1, all hardware is chrome, frets are inlaid into a jet black ebony fretboard. The peghead overlay is matching ebony, and includes our distinctive "RedLine" decal under several coats of nitrocellulose lacquer.

Inside this guitar is our own method of construction and bracing. A laminated ring supports the spun cone, and spruce posts connect the top to the back, between this cone support and conventional guitar ladder bracing.

Further, we have developed our own spider bridge, and one of these (the RLR Spider) is include in this guitar.
