The table top is created from a slab of 2nd growth redwood burl. As opposed to to old growth redwood, 2nd growth is lighter in color & weight and has a varying amount of blond sap wood remaining. The base is red cedar driftwood which is a perfect compliment to redwood and makes a more interesting and less heavier base a than redwood stump. The bottom is resin sealed to protect the floor.
