Rose Railing
This is a detail from one of the first railings I made. The stylized forge welded rose was the center piece of the railing. Having the bottom rail arch up from the roots of the rose makes for a more dynamic visual impact. The balusters and railing were assembled using mortise and tenon joinery adding a subtle rhythym to the overall design.
