This beautiful brooch features a rutilated quartz/lapis lazuli doublet that has been bezel set on a brass water drop styled setting. A doublet is a two layer stone. This one features rich blue lapis lazuli on the bottom with a wonderful striated rutilated quartz top. The brass backing has a hammered criss-cross texture. The piece has been oxidized to bring out the rich colors and textures. The pin back is fabricated of sterling silver.
