This cabinet was designed to utilize a small space in an RV. The space available was the clearance space between the pop-out and the bathroom wall - slightly less than 10 inches. The client also wanted to have a space for their laptop and writing area.

Because of the limited space available, … there are no knobs on the cabinet doors. The doors have a tappered edge that is easily gripped and spring loaded hinges to keep the doors shut. The doors are also recessed to optimize the internal shelf depth.

The laptop/writing area has a fold out shelf with concealed hinges in order to provide a smooth transition from the fold down portion to the stationary portion of the writing surface.

When installed there was only about a 1/16 of an inch clearance between the cabinet and the pop-out in its retracted position.

The cabinet is oak and was stained to match the other existing cabinets in the RV.
