This piece is from the late 1700's to the early 1800's and made in Belgium. Unfortunately over time the piece had deteriorated quite a bit. I completely disassembled the piece entirely to every last panel and piece of trim, rebuilt / re-carved the damaged pieces and then reassembled it. I wanted it to retain the patina and aged look rather than have it appear as if it were a new piece to retain that historic flavor.
