'Sante Fe Dreaming' is designed around the elegant and some say, sacred turquoise faceted briolette from the famed Sleeping Beauty Mine in Arizona. Used for years by the Navajo people of the area, the turquoise brought up from the rich depths of the earth is some of the most compelling and beautiful. I use one of them in 'Sante Fe Dreaming.'
A sculptural lampwork poppy and a curious mystic portal clear encased turquoise/red lampwork bead are companions to the handsome, large round lampwork bead which reminds me of Hudson Bay trading blankets of the Pacific Northwest and round out a First Nation's theme to this piece in another approach to the upcoming season of spirit and holidays. Keishi lustrous pearls, a chunky Baroque pearl, AAA grade blue fire moonstone, sterling droplets & beads & organic lampwork, a sculptural lime green leaf and a thick quartz faceted briolette finish 'Sante Fe Dreaming' which is connected on a hand-wrought wax-rendered sterling silver bail. A final touch is a sterling heart charm with a subtle swirl of silver, remind one how energy enjoys a nice round shape, sound and home in our cosmos.
'Sante Fe Dreaming' comes on a 22 inch leather cord, however the bail can accommodate many sizes of chain, ribbon, leather, etc.
This piece is from the same collection as a bracelet currently for sale in the shop, called 'Tuolumne,' following a similar color theme and texture.
