Sapele And Maple Floor Lamp

This floor lamp is made from Caribbean Mahogany and maple. The Mahogany is a little lighter in color than traditional Mahogany and sits beautifully with the Maple. The top has large panels that are held by a Japanese / arts and crafts style frame, a simple pedestal supports it.
The panels of the
… shade are about 1/16th of an inch thick and laminated to glass to keep them smooth. When the lamp is turned on the panels seem to become translucent, the figure of the wood is seen in a very unique way and with the rose color glow that comes from it, you will have to take a closer look
The dimensions are 11 ¼" square by 75" tall. It is finished with a hand rubbed Polyurethane. A foot switch on the cord turns it on and off. All electrical components are U.L. tested.
My pieces are completely handmade by me in my shop here in Greenfield Mass.

Chuppah

From the moment that Ben reached out to us with interest in our project we knew he would be good fit to build our chuppah. He was very responsive to ALL our emails and provided updates throughout the entire process. The finished chuppah was even better than I imagined it would be, he even provided hand drawings and detailed instructions on how to put it together. Next time we have a project that requires wood working we will definitely be in touch with Ben. Thanks so much!!!!!

It was phenomenal to work with Ben. His bid was fair, and the workmanship was fantastic! He checked and double checked dimensions with my contractor, and created the exact piece of furniture that we wanted positioned in a recessed area. It fit perfectly, and it is constructed beautifully. He delivered it exactly when he said he would, and it was in pristine condition. If or when we need any other custom built piece, we will immediately turn to Ben. I don't have a picture just yet to share, but I will be happy to do so, when my time permits. Thank you Ben!!!!

Bookcase & Matching Shelf

Ben did a great job making my bookcase. He started from a post-it-note sketch I did and delivered something which was spot on to that initial "specification". He was a great communicator and the back and forth dialog was rich and productive (including sketches back from Ben). The resulting product was delivered to my office looking exactly like I had envisioned it. I am very happy.
