Hand-Blocked Floppy Hat
This hand blocked wool felt is hand cut to shape. An edgy new brim shape inspired by a saw blade and a vintage VOGUE cover. One of my signature pieces. Because it's hand cut, blade shape may vary slightly.
All my hats are meticulously hand-blocked and stitched in my NYC studio. This hat has a machine stitched grosgrain head-size ribbon inside which allows me to keep the price lower than my other hats. I still use classic, centuries-old couture millinery techniques & some new techniquess in my work.
I learned my trade working as a millinery Assistant to a Broadway milliner. I still make hats for Broadway shows, movies and tv.
Avail. in any color wool available to the market. Please inquire if you have a specific color in mind.
