This Dining table in Solid magony with maple detailing was a pleasure both to design and construct. I first built up the layers of wood, precut to the rough shape. Then I sculpted the piece, refining the lines and working in the details as I progressed. In crafting the top I sought to visually strengthen the shape of the base by use of the inlay.
