This chest of drawers has many uses oneof which is visual.
My design intent was to build a functional piece that displayed my appreciation of the motice & tennon bean construction of traditional barns I have seen.
The structure holding the boxes is that representation, the canteleiver beams adds some dynamics to the typical barn frame construction.
The tops, handles and feet are rosewood, the boxes are red oak and the frame is maple.
