Birdie is an artist. His work is beautiful and it was a pleasure working with him.
These boxes are hand shaped. The woods are selected because of the unusal appearance of the grain and natural defects. I find small twigs with interesting movement, then fit then to the top of the box with a post.
I enjoy the movement of the twigs, these boxes are a way to show my love of wood.
