Designing and building a piece that I have created is probably the most satisfying aspect of my work. I'm not sure what the influence is, as people have asked whether the design for the Display Cabinet is Scandinavian or African. It is certainly unique. There are three glass shelves in the cabinet, and the translucent stained glass back allows subtle lighting for treasures inside. Contemporary furniture, with a focus on functionality, is my real passion in woodworking. Freeform and bent lamination techniques are a wonderful way to create interest.
