Seymour-Style Breakfront
CustomMade by William Doub
This breakfront was inspired by the work of John and Thomas Seymour, cabinetmaker and son practicing in Boston in the first part of the 19th century. Recent exhibitions of their work put them back into the public eye, and my client ordered a breakfront in this style. the proportions were changed somewhat to reflect the larger scale of the contemporary client's architectural space. You may see more pictures of this and other traditional and contemporary cases on my website.

Library Ladder in the Style of Napoleon III
by N Jul 31st 2012
Ever since you squeezed the Book Steps through the passage in a non-Euclidean post-physics miracle, I have been exuberantly playing with it. Its functionality is obvious but its aesthetic presence is overwhelming. Guests immediately are drawn to it and are transformed by it. Thank you so very, very much……….. Please keep in touch.
