Free Edge, Walnut Side Table
CustomMade by Hugh Vaughan
This unique walnut table was inspired by the Conoid Design style of George Nakashima. I lived with his furniture in my house for two decades and visited his nearby studio in New Hope, Pennsylvania on a number of occasions. I feel I was able to absorb both his style and philosophy to a large
… degree.
The table shown here is designed as a lamp or side table, standing 16.25 inches and 32 inches long x 23 inches wide. The table top was cut from a Pennsylvania Black Walnut tree crotch. Free form, natural edges have been kept on both sides. Both the top and triangle base are 1.5 inch walnut. Finish is a natural raw oil, refreshed periodically with lemon oil.
Similar tables both in walnut or other comparable species can be custom supplied.

Custom Natural Wood Picture Frames
by John Oct 16th 2012
I am a real estate broker and have clients coming in and out of my office all day. I am also a nature photographer who likes to capture small creatures on film—like frogs and turtles in wet places. I know the photos get a lot attention from my clients but now I can show them off on my office wall in a group of custom made frames from Jefferson Crafts. Ranging in size from 8"x10" to 16"x20", the frames, with their traditional craftsman styled joints and natural wood finishes, get as many admiring comments as the photos. I particularly like the newest one, a 16" x 20" frame made with African Ribbon Striped Mahogany and Adirondack style lap joints.

Maple Kitchen Dining Table
by Rhonda Oct 16th 2012
I asked Jefferson Crafts for a nice 30"x50" maple table for my kitchen and I got it within a couple of weeks. It has a beautiful, knot-free 1" thick top, tapered legs, smooth varnish finish and all. I'm very very happy with my table! Beautiful wood, craftsmanship, exactly what I envisioned it would be.
