These two hand-carved panels are part of a 10 panel set that comprised a full double door entryway into a gentleman's hunt room. The set of carvings celebrates the Lakota Wheel of Life in which four Spiritkeepers watch over three moons of each year. Each moon has totem animals, plants and other attributes used to design and arrange this entryway.
