Product Description:
We choose woods with solid structural characteristics and outstanding color patterns for work surfaces and structural parts. Spalted maple is extremely soft and can be very challenging to manipulate; therefore, the softest wood is reserved for the floating shaker style panels giving us an exceptional appearance, while not compromising the maple's durability. Due to the tensile strength required, shelving is maple plywood while solid spalted maple borders the edge to match the rest of the office.
Credenza work surfaces and bookcase sides are solid spalted maple. The desk insert is black leather framed with spalted maple. Copper intensifies both bookcase backing and the wall behind the painting. Four lateral-file drawers are dovetailed solid-maple construction. Four storage cabinets connect a full wire-management system.
Corner curios have curved glass doors (one not visible in the photo) protecting the curved glass shelving. They are lighted from above and feature mirrored backing.
