I was asked to design the altar furniture for the new Sanctuary for St Mark the Evangelist. The church utilized the Gothic arch in many of its features. I built the designs around this form, using the drawing program, sketchup, to … model the pieces and place them in a model of the sanctuary. Once the designs were completed and approved the shop drawings followed and we began construction. The resulting pieces are pictured.

Canters Lectern: 20"W x 17"D x 47H in the front x 42"H in the back. The curved top is angled back at 15°. Storage is provided under the top 2 1/2" tall x 9"W x 12"D. Wire chases are built into the structure. $6,800
Ambo: 28"W x 19"D x 47H in the front x 42"H in the back. The top is angled back at 15°. Storage is provided under the top 2 1/4" tall x 12 1/2"W x 16"D. The top surface is made from figured Birch. Wire chases are built into the structure. $6,900
Credence Table: 53"L x 24"W x 36"H (to the surface) $7,500
Servers Chairs: 29 1/2"H x 20"D x 18 1/2W $1,450 each
