  • Rebecca, Please take a look at the enclosed rendering. The top row shows your doors with a random combination of glass in the roses, the bottom with a mix of the glass but the same layout in each rose. I am not sure which I like better - please choose! Also, note on the pattern at the top left the placement of the lower circle has been adjusted a bit. Once I laid out the full-scale pattern it reduced the amount of glass you would see there and I liked it better this way. Let me know about the roses and i will post a photo once I have glass cut.   • First of your four doors built - three to go! The final finish is not complete - the lead will be considerably darker and burnished, which makes the whole piece "pop". Build complete, cementing and finishing to be done when all are built.

  • Rebecca, The windows need another day to let the puttying dry, then a final polish tomorrow evening. The crate is built and ready - I will be taking them to the FedEx shipping station first thing on Wednesday morning. I have enclosed a photo below that shows the puttying process, if you are interested. The panels look really great - I think having the set of four is going to complement your entertainment center very well. I apologize again for the delays. I do not see anywhere in my records that I have your address - please send it. I usually specify delivery after 5:00 if it will arrive on a weekday - will that work for you? I will send you the tracking number and estimated arrival Wednesday. Thanks, Christine Puttying process; left to right - 1. Build complete, 2. Putty has been forced into the channels to seat and seal the glass. 3. Clean up using whiting and a bit of elbow grease, and 4. Done! Putty puts a nice patina on the lead lines.
