This is carved zebra wood with a walnut base. The shade is eight sided zebra wood with hand colored leaves. I developed the "Original Leaf Shade" over a three year period. Many, many failures. I spent most of my professional life as a commercial photographer, so the quality of the light was very important. From five feet the shade looks like stained glass. Allow 2-4 weeks for your lamp.
