The owner of this gate wanted a design that resembles his passion for puzzles and hers for Japanese style. They also live in a traditional Japanese house. They wanted to incorporate the ancient game - tangram - into the design. The gate was built on the existing metal frame and is sandwiched in between the front and back by the yellow cedar frame and western red cedar paneling.
