Let me also say that building a web site, and placing a listing with custommade, has been one of the best marketing tools I have had since I've been in business, (30 years) . I will also say that I have had, (past tense) a yellow page add for 25 years, it cost about $1,000.00 per year. I would say that I grossed about $5,000 a year in business from it. My web site on your site has brought $150,000.00 in the first two years, (of high end cabinet work).
Am I happy that I have my web page and listing with custommade.com.....?

FYI: I continue to get my best contacts through CustomMade.com. My last project was typical--lot's of detailed e-mail communication effectively locked up the job before I took the 1.5 hour trip to meet the customer. Worked out great. My current project is for a builder who I met when I did the "built-in bookcases" a couple years ago for his father-in-law, who found me at CM. My next project is for a customer who got burned by a sleezebag who took numerous deposits from customers, then claimed bankruptcy. She hired an interior designer to find someone and she found me at CM. First they both went out to my customer in North Jersey who I did the "home library" project for and looked my work over in person. That was the second project I did for them, and they found me at CM a few years back. Now, for contrast, in an effort to find more customers in that same high rent area, I placed an ad in one of those color home magazines put out by the local newspaper, the Morris County Record. For $575 I got ZILCH!
