The Oak and leather are locally-sourced Maine materials. All joints are hand-crafted mortise and tenon. With the removal of a few pegs, the entire stool can be taken apart for shipment and then re-assembled with only a household hammer or mallet in a matter of minutes by somebody with no woodworking experience.
