These stone fish necklaces are always a favorite at showings and all have individual personalities. Some of the stone fish pendants are a darker shade and some lighter, and I build around the color. As an example I may use turquoise stones, carnelian, jasper, or any other natural stone based on the colors picked up from the fish. All of the materials are glass, sterling wire, sometimes metal (button clasp). They also contain hemp or leather, glass seed beads. The possibilities are endless when designing one of these. They can take up to four hours or more, with details being in the multiple strands and how they are placed. I take great care in the security of the stringing. All of these are made with 10 - 14 pound Fireline, waxed. Swarovski crystals used are the original brand.
The light aqua fish is currently available, the other colors are sold pieces but examples of customization. Clasp may be out of sterling, metal, woods, shell, or glass beads and buttons. It just depends on the design I envision. Lengths vary from 18" to 24". I have never made any in the 30" or more range, but there is always a first time for anything. Strands can be single, double, triple, or more, depending on request. Please inquire for pricing.
This piece can dress a casual outfit up and make it look very sophisticated. The little bit of sparkle from the crystals is also great for an evening out dining.
Dimensions
Strands are18" and up. Currently available fish in light turquoise is "21 in length. Fish is betweeen 2" and 8" around.
