This sideboard was built from a single set of tiger maple, this means all of the maple is from the same tree. This is especially important with tiger maple as the curl can be quite different from tree to tree. If several different sets were used on a single piece, the grain and type of curl will … clash with one another. Great care is taken with all of my furniture to ensure all figure and grain is matched properly. This along with great design, craftsmanship and finish are what make this furniture truly one of a kind. Built using all traditional construction techniques including deep mortise and tenon and hand cut dovetails guarantees your piece will be handed down from generation to generation.
