I made the first of these small tables for a friends waiting area in her therapy room. I brought it with me on the plane to Switzerland.
Since then I have built a few more that are readily available.
The top is Richlite™, a manmade product that is often used for countertops. It is incredible … hard and scratch resistent. It has a beautiful sheen and is easy to clean.
You can choose from 'indigo', a deep blue, and 'merlot', which is a dark wine red.
It has two pairs of legs made from maple. Each leg has a leveler to accommodate an uneven floor.
