This is a custom table that was built carried a trapezoid theme in a few different places. The 4" thick top, built in a torsion box style, has sloped sides. The base slopes out about 5" on both sides. I also made the stools with about a 4" change in the width.
The customer sent me a picture of something similar to what they wanted with with new dimensions. I made the changes and drew it up in SketchUp so I and the customer could get a feel for proportions. The only thing that I changed after the drawing was the thickness of the stools. That 1 1/2", while sturdy enough, looked a little too thin.
I sent it out unfinished. It will get a very cool designer finish. A told the customer to send a picture when it is finished.
