Turbidity Organic Lampwork, Wirewoven, And Shell Necklace
CustomMade by Mona Baroody
I made this necklace, the bail, the clasp, and all the lampwork beads too! I usually make very "artsy" eclectic pieces. I need to take a lesson from the simplicity of this piece, because I think it is one of my best and most elegant to date!

Hand formed and hammered copper Garden Gate clasp.
Bail is woven metallic blue coated copper, over copper wire.
Lampwork focal has bubbles (made by baking soda!) under the crystal clear encasement. The bubbles float over the sea green and blue base glass, and remind me of turbid ocean water.
Beads strung on the necklace include natural labradorite spacers, abalone rings, natural sea shell slices, blue dyed mother of pearl chunks, iridescent blue seeds and turquoise baguette Czech glass beads, natural lapis lazuli cubes, and 6 more of my lampwork beads made with reactive silver glass (creating various shades of blue and green mettalic) encased in crystal clear. Base wire is 24 strand, and the crimps are either gold, or gold filled.
