I have always been inspired by Coco Chanel, and how she forever changed how women dressed. She invented the little black dress, womens sportswear, and her signature use of black and white in patterns such as the Chanel tweed, the hounds tooth tweed in black and white, big dramatic accessories in … pearls and gold chains and her signature colours of pink white black and accents of gold. At Jane Hall Design I design collections based on inspirations from many sources, movies, periods of history and classical design, and global cultures. My style could be called Bohemian Chic. I strongly believe in the principals of sustainable design, and in supporting my local economy by employing local artisans and workrooms.
