Using HOT-WIRE on a table jig set-up for shaping styrofoam
to the complex compound curves sketched by the client.

A big advantage to this method was to be able to make the corner molds as one piece castings for strength and beauty.

Another big advantage was the ability to use the positive … waste pieces from the cavity-mold cut outs. These waste pieces are exactly like what the finished cement castings will look like but are just the styrofoam waste.
These were taken to the job site and cut to fit with the client seeing exactly what he will be getting as a finished ( but far heavier) product.
