This desk is made from a beautiful slab that was in my studio for about 4 years until i decided to make a desk i wanted to highlight the beauty in the shape of the slab . I created the drawer base with curves the accent the shape in the slab . The additional material is spalted curly beech . The inlay is turquoise with resin and the veins on the leaf is the same color .The desk is finished with a hand rub oil with a wax top coat .
