Walnut Jewelry Box

This Walnut jewelry box has a hand carved whale tale (maple) for a handle. It has a removable tray for small pieces of jewelry. The box is line with felt (burgundy). The walnut is finished with an amber shellac which gives a warmth to a wood that sometimes can look cold if finished with a clear finish.

Dan Coors is a highly skilled woodworker. He took my complex idea and made it into a functional box and he delivered on time. I would work with him again. This jewelry box was for a corporate job, but I would come back and hire him for personal work as well.
