After locating and securing the specific diamond (it weighs just under one carat) for the customer, I was then able to move forward in creating the ring. Other than the relatively unusual configuration of the two stones, the ring was to have a very simple and understated appearance...ultimately causing the stones to be more visually dominant. A blue diamond was selected to invert beneath the center diamond. The ring was ultimately cast of 18K white gold.
