This custom kitchen shows what custom really means. The cabinets feature beaded face-frames with an off white lacquered finish. The doors and drawer fronts are inset, with flat (reversed) panels. Note the accent that the end panels of the island and center panels of the hood are raised. The hood, itself, is wraped with several mouldings, and rests on two large corbels. It has gone from function to being a focal point. The upper cabinets feature glass doors with beadboarded cabinet backs - very eye-catching.
The appliances blend in well with this kitchen, too. The drawer under the wall-oven is actually a warming drawer, and the 2 drawers on the reverse side of the island conceal a dishwasher.
What cannot be seen here is that the cabinetry continues into an entryway with matching beadboarded wall, bench, shoe storage, and shelving.
