This window seat was designed for a client looking to hide his A/V equipment wile adding elegance to the room. To accommodate this the right hand cabinet holds all of the electronics and behind the grate of the window seat there is a sub woofer. Esthetically one of my key concerns for the design … was that in the room space was at a premium. With that in mind the cabinets were built to a shallow depth (20") and the seat was stepped back. The result is a very elegant and functional window seat that greatly enhanced the functionally and appearance of the room.
