This mahogany Windsor Chair was commissioned from The Pfizer Corporation for retiring board members. Designed from three different early american Windsor Chair styles this piece features a carved shield seat, carved ears, and carved knuckles. All the dowels are wedged with seen and hidden wedges … and the whole piece is hand rubbed with an oil varnish. Windsor chairs can be used to accent any room, made as a set for a rustic dining room, or, like this one, carved on the crest rail and used as a dedication gift (the crest rail can be hand or laser carved with any design including photos).
