This 'Dream-Catcher' was made by attaching the drawing to the sheet of white-gold then drilling, sawing out and removing the enclosed background of the netting, then after making yellow gold wire the desired gauge diameter, I formed it to allow the netting to fit and touch the inside edge...I welded it closed and then brazed all contact points after using a graver to true up each opening of the net.
Next after sawing out the 3 feathers from white gold with a V removed from the tips and replaced with silver, I carved them and blackened the silver tips..
Then I added small closed circles of white gold wire to the tops of the feathers that the red gold wires that are attached to the sides of the red-gold bezel-set diamonds are attached to at the bottom edge of the rim...allowing the feathers to move freely.
At the top of the hoop, I added the small circle to run a post through to hinge that the yellow gold bail with a blackened cut out carved and overlaid and blackened arrowhead....
Followed by polishing ....
