This ring has a history which goes back to my formative years as a jewelry designer. One summer weekend in 1979 my buddy Glenn and I went camping on Aztec peak in Arizona and quite by chance we met a Ranger by the name of Stu. He wore a beautiful ring which caught my fancy (as jewelry so often does), but it seemed unfinished, nay incomplete. I've made that design over and over again over the years and I think I've achieved the look which I was after for so long.
This is a pure Moebius strip ring in that if you follow the band around, it doubles back on itself, revealing that there is only one band. A pure symbol of marriage itself.
This ring is a size 5 1/2 and is made with 14k Gold. The metal and the Diamond are all repurposed materials. The Diamond measures 4.2 mm in diameter and weighs 23 points. While not ideal, it is very clean and bright and by my estimation is a G color and an SI1 clarity. The shank of the ring, squared in nature as it should be, is a bit over 4 mm in width and the top of the ring is a bit under 8 mm in width. This design can easily be made with any metal and any stone (within reason), within a size of the original. Outside sizes will be priced accordingly. Please ask any questions you may have.
