1910'S Titanic Style Evening Dress

1910-1919 was an Era of enormous change in the world. We saw the sinking of the Titanic, World War 1, the fast progression of mechanized vehicles, the forward momentum of Women's Rights, and huge changes in the Social Class Systems. All of these shifts led to new and adventurous Fashion advances.

My Evening dresses are generally draped on a fitted bodice, instead of cut from flat patterns. Each one is unique and can require many hours of hand sewing to build the dress from the inside out with all of its hidden closures. Instead of the fullness of previous decades, these dresses rely on cut and trimming to give Elegance to the new narrow silhouette. Beaded panels, tassels, and fringe are just some of the options for these dresses.
