A 1/2 oval table that functions as a welcoming table in the country style, sits just inside the entrance to the customer's house. As per the customer's request, the table is 1/2 oval with a curved frame and drawer to match. The drawer front was connected to the drawer sides by using contrasting walnut plugs.
The base of the table was made from poplar and left unfinished as the customer wanted to paint it with white "milk" paint. The top of the 1/2 oval table is made from bird's eye maple, stained light brown and coated with two (2) coats of a satin finish polyurethane.
Dimensions: Approximately 12" deep x 48" long x 30" tall.
