3 Prep Condiment Sauce Bowl And Plates Denim Blue Wheel Thrown Stoneware Ceramic Pottery

Plates: 3-1/2" and 3" diameters
2 small plates or dishes and a bowl for sauces, dipping, spoon rest, prep, mise en place. Great for syrups, soy sauce, oils, compotes, dressings, herbs, condiments, spices, ingredients... These little dishes are so handy in the kitchen and at the table.
They are glazed in a soft variegated speckled denim blue, and natural browns where the claybody shows through the glaze. Each cup is scribed or stamped "gem" underneath.
Food-safe, microwave, and dishwasher safe. Hand-washing is recommended due to its size, unless your dishwasher is designed to handle small items. Treat carefully as you would fine china.
Lightweight, thin walled, not clunky. Made from a North Carolina clay that is between stoneware and porcelain, so texture is smooth and fine yet earthy and strong. Painted with non-commercial glazes formulated at my school and fired to ~2200°F for a vitrified watertight finish.
