30" Wide Roll Top Desk Mounted To Vintage Solid Wood Door

This is an example of an item I repurposed and is presently for sale.
Prior to a hotel built in 1912 was demolished, I acquired the door and old wood planks used to cover the old cast-iron hot water heater radiators in the rooms. With these items and an old 48" wide roll top desk I had in my basement, I decided to marry the two together.
The top of the desk, wood shelf and top door ledge were made from the wooden planks removed from the hot water radiators.
The brass door latch that was once used to keep the old door closed while installed in the hotel is now being used as the front drawer pull on the desk.
The 4 wire hat hangers were also removed from the same hotel.
The roll top desk was dismantled, cut-down, refinished and distressed to fit the front of the door. The steel shelf brackets and mirror were add to provide the correct look to the piece.
This is a real statement piece of furniture that would look great in any room, office or foyer.
