Each hand-crafted cypress Fan© Bench or Table is made from solid cypress in natural or stained to your personal preferences.
There are two standard versions:
A 36" Wide x 16 1/2" Seat Depth x 17 1/2" High and 46" Wide x 16 1/2" Seat Depth x 17 1/2" High. Custom sizes are also available upon request.
Color and grain patterns will vary depending upon the wood used.
The piece can come in Natural (Shown) with Clear Sealer, Red Oak, (shown), Ebony, Olympus Green, Dark Walnut, Mahogany, Moon Blue, Maple, Pine, Cherry, English Chestnut or custom colors upon request. If kept outside in direct sunlight year round, a UV sealer is recommended at no additional charge. Shipment will be approximately 3-4 weeks if not in stock due to backlog and fabrication.
The individual fan pieces are attached to each other and the apron using galvanized wood screws (50 on the 36" wide piece and 60 on the 46" wide piece). The legs are secured by 12 lag bolts; two on each side leg and 4 on the middle leg. Also the corners of the aprons are reinforced and optional feet are added to the bottom of the legs. The legs are made from 2" x 4" boards.

These features insure the piece is very strong, sturdy and durable for many years of indoor or outdoor enjoyment. When ordering multiple benches, optional brackets can be provided to secure the benches into a single section (See the picture of the bench underside).
Shipping is to the West Coast (See Shipping & Policies). A refund is provided if cost is less when shipped.
The cedar bench is designed and built to be placed inside, outside on a patio or in the garden area for year round use. Multiple benches can be put together to form semicircles, approximate circles, S-shapes or placed around corners or trees.
As previously noted, the fan planks are secured to a cedar frame with screws for strength and rigidity (See picture of underside). Each of the five legs is secured to the frame with lag bolts, lock and flat washers.
The piece is shipped with the five legs removed for economy. Each leg is marked for easy re-assembly to the top. Each bench/table has been completely assembled to insure proper fit and finish before packing and shipment.
